The idea of building a meat locker began thirteen months before breaking ground for our facility near Stickney in August 2021. We hope 281 Meats will help ease the stress of ranchers looking for a place to process their livestock. Our goal is to process South Dakota raised, quality meat straight to your kitchen table.
Ryan & Becky
Muck
Ryan and his family have lived near Stickney for
20 years. He has been processing meat for about
25 years and has fine tuned the skills to produce
high-quality meat that’s enjoyed by all. He has perfected a recipe for bacon that you are guaranteed to love.
Tim & Becky Matlock
Tim Matlock grew up in Stickney, SD and continues to live here with his family. For the past 10 years, he has owned and operated Matlock Construction. Being born and raised in South Dakota, he knows the value of hard work, family and supporting the local businesses.
Greg & Evette
Rihanek
Greg and his family have lived in the Plankinton area for over 20 years. Greg has been a business owner for the past 30 years from farming, ranching,
raising cattle, and trucking.
